Description
The course is designed in 2 parts:
Part 1 Theory class via Google Meet with Joe PK
Understanding the theory behind spearfishing, including but not limited to:
- equipment
- hunting ground
- weather conditions
- techniques
- the most important safety!
Part 1 duration: 2hrs | Group: 2-3 attendees | Time: Weekdays 19:00 – 21:00
Part 2 Practical diving skills & hunting techniques with Barcley, Joe or Toby
Once you have covered the theory we’ll book you onto a half day where we will run through all the theory, in practice.
We kick off the day by walking through all the kit, before diving in and reviewing your finning technique, followed by duck dive practice. Upon mastering these basic, but essential, (and often overlooked) skills we’ll practice the different hunting techniques, from foraging for lobsters & scallops to hunting Sea Bass and other fishy favourites.
Courses run from the end of May to the end of October along the Devon coastline.
Part 2 duration: 4hrs | Group size: 2 attendees | Time: 7 days/week either 08:00 – 12:00 or 13:00 – 17:00
Equipment: If you haven’t already purchased your own spearfishing equipment, we can provide you with all the kit, bar neoprene socks and gloves, at no additional cost.
