Description
The Start Point torpedo float (surface marker buoy) is a tough spearfishing buoy from Start Point and is double lined protecting the internal inflatable bladder from sun damage and physical abrasion.
Our new surface marker buoy (SMB) float design has easy access to insert the bladder through a robust plastic zip, inflating your buoy has never been easier!
This float comes with an alpha flag to show boats and other water users that there is a diver below. The pocket on the underneath of the spearfishing float, allows a small weight to be inserted which acts like ballast, ensuring your dive flag always stays upright in the water.
The float also has multiple (7) hard plastic anchoring points to easily attach a foraging bag, fish stringer, personal equipment or other items you require whilst out snorkelling, spearfishing or foraging.
The Start Point Spearfishing float is bright orange to maximise visibility when you are in the water, a key feature of any surface marker buoy.
The spearfishing float buoy comes with the Alpha dive flag (blue & white), but without line.
We recommend the extendable float line (bungee line), please choose from the float line options below:
- 5m extendable float line – stretches to 10m (+ £15.49)
- 10m extendable float line – stretches to 20m (+ £22.99)
- 25m orange rope line (can tangle quite easily, not recommended)
- No float line
