Start Point Spearfishing are committed to ensuring that all of our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases.
If for any reason, upon receipt of your goods, you wish to return any item please return the item to us within 30 days for an exchange or a refund.
All we ask is that you are responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) and that the items are unused and in the original packaging.
This is in addition to any statutory rights you have.
For the return of goods, we advise the following:
- Please ensure that the product(s) are well packaged and our return address is clear. Also, include your sender information on the outside of the parcel.
- Remember to place a note inside the parcel explaining why the item has been returned and what cause of action is required (exchange/refund etc).
Wetsuit Return Policy:
If you change your mind, we offer a 30-day, no-quibble return policy, as long as the wetsuit is completely undamaged and in its original condition. Please read the Wetsuit Advice article (below) to help you check the fit without risking damage.
For hygiene reasons, wetsuit pants cannot be returned if they have been fitted with a pissette, worn, used, or removed from their original packaging.
Each wetsuit is carefully inspected prior to dispatch and upon its return. We are unable to process refunds for items returned in a damaged or unsellable condition. This applies to items that arrive with significant wrinkling. In these cases, the items will be returned to you.
Useful courier information:
For the return of small items (under 2 kg/size of a shoebox), we would suggest using royal mail via the Post Office. 1st or 2nd class small parcel post is fairly quick and affordable.
For larger or heavier items we would suggest looking at the following websites:
If you need to return an item that has been sent in error or is faulty, please contact us so we can send you a returns label.

Wetsuit Advice:
If you change your mind, we offer a 30-day, no-quibble return policy, as long as the wetsuit is completely undamaged and in its original condition. To help you check the fit without risking damage, please follow the below instructions when trying on your wetsuit for the first time:
DO NOT put the wetsuit on dry, you need to use a lubricating solution inside the wetsuit before trying it on.
Because open-cell wetsuits grip the skin, they are easily torn without proper lubrication. Always ensure the entire inside of the suit is thoroughly saturated before putting it on.
Top Tip for trying on the Jacket: Fold the bottom of the jacket up to your ribs and slide your arms and hand through the sleeves, exposing your hands, so the body of the wetsuit jacket is then in front of you. Gently place your hands towards the opening of the hood and guide over your head. This prevents the jacket from bunching under your arms and getting stuck. Once it’s on, you can simply fold the suit down, entirely avoiding contact with the inside and reducing the risk of damage.
Each wetsuit is carefully inspected prior to dispatch and upon its return. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds for items returned damaged, and such items will be shipped back to you.
Please read, follow and adhere to the above guidance. Contact us anytime if you have questions or need help.
