The Start Point float line is our recommended line to attach to surface marker buoys as it floats and doesn’t tangle, making it perfect for spearfishing.

This line is a lot safer than standard, non floating, non stretching line.

The float line is available in 2 lengths:

5 metres long as standard but easily stretches out to a total of 10 metres

or

10 metres long standard but easily stretches out to a total of 20 metres

  • Available in RED for easy visibility
  • Floats
  • Doesn’t tangle
  • Clip attached to each end for easy attachment
  • Removes the need for a line winder

Description

The Start Point float line is our recommended line to attach to surface marker buoys as it floats and doesn’t tangle, making it perfect for spearfishing. Furthermore having a shorter line, which stretches only as you descend underwater, keeps your float closer to you making you more visible to passing boats and other water users.

Our float line is tough enough for use on both those smaller surface marker buoys, as well as for use with larger float boards like the Imersion Eskwad or Beuchat Pluma.

This line is a lot safer than standard, non floating, non stretching line which poses a serious safety risk of tangling.

The float line is available in 2 lengths:

5 metres long as standard but easily stretches out to a total of 10 metres

or

10 metres long standard but easily stretches out to a total of 20 metres

  • Available in RED for easy visibility

  • Doesn’t tangle
  • Clip attached to each end for easy attachment
  • Removes the need for a line winder

Excellent no fuss float line for the price. I used mine a lot while hunting for lobsters and crabs. The fact it extends makes it easy to explore around rocks without anything getting tangled.

Unfortunately I lost my first one because I didn’t secure it to my float properly while entering the water and it drifted off before I noticed, so I had to buy another.
